‘This the season to be jolly! And maybe a little stressed?? Are you one of those people who wait until the last minute to do EVERYTHING holiday related?? Here are a few helpful ideas for Frisco area holiday things to do:
Still need a tree?? Be sure to visit the Christmas Tree Lot in Frisco’s Christmas Square, sponsored by the Frisco Boy Scout Pack 51, Charted by the First Methodist Church in Frisco. Christmas trees may be found in all sizes and types, ranging from 5′ to 12’ in height. Types available include Douglas and Fraiser Firs and Scotch Pines at reasonable prices for your family’s enjoyment. The Frisco Christmas Tree Lot will be open for business through December 20th from 5 pm to 9 pm Monday through Friday, 9 am to 9 pm Saturday, and noon to 8 pm Sunday. The best trees go fast, so you better hurry!
Everyone needs to experience the thrill of an open carriage ride, especially when the brisk winter spirit surrounds us. North Star Carriage will be offering rides throughout Frisco Square every Thursday through Sunday evening until January 3, 2015. Only $6 per person, carriages may be found on the lot next to Sake Toro. To be sure a holiday carriage ride through the Frisco Square it is will add a special night to remember to this season’s memory trove.
Last by not least be sure to check out all the fun to be had at the Dr. Pepper StarCenter for all kinds of holiday activities for the family. Be sure to walk through the Drop N’Shop, enjoy the Skate with Santa and the Winter Festival on Ice, and don’t pass up the photo ops in Winter Wonderland.
