The Rail District in Downtown Frisco has needed pedestrian improvements for a while, and now they’re on their way. Improving walkability on Elm Street is now a top priority. Recently the council approved a contract worth $5.1M for improvements to “…replacement of existing pavement, additional on-street parking, new streetlights, water and wastewater improvements and a new traffic signal at the intersection with 5th Street,” according to a recent CommunityImpact article.
