PGA of America & Omni Resort

Frisco is becoming the perfect blend of work and play for countless businesses and families. For example, in 2018, PGA of America announced plans to relocate its headquarters to Frisco, which will anchor a 660-acre mixed-use development. Public-private investment tops $500-billion and includes two championship golf courses, a short course, and a practice area totaling 46 holes of play. In addition, the development includes an over 500-room Omni PGA Frisco Resort, a 127,000 SF conference center, miles of friendly trails, and a retail district. With a grand opening scheduled for the spring of 2023, things are moving quickly.

University of North Texas Development

UNT’s deep Texas roots are getting deeper with a UNT at Frisco campus. The recent groundbreaking opens the $100 million investment that will initially host approximately 3,500 students for classes in 2023, potentially reaching 25,000 students in 30 years. This satellite campus will span over 100-acres at the corners of Preston and Panther Creek. This development is the first 4-year, Tier 1 research university in Frisco.

Music Street Frisco

Frisco is quickly making gains as another fantastic music destination in Texas with the addition of Music Street Frisco. This 6.7-acre, $38.5 million entertainment complex consists of a 1,002-seat indoor performance hall, 390-seat outdoor stage, and many restaurants. Hodges Architecture, renowned for its theater and entertainment venue designs, is creating the plans, and construction has begun.
